Interactive RAL colour chart

Try your floor colour live

Tap one of the RAL colours most often used on epoxy floors and see straight away how it looks on a gloss, satin or textured floor.

  • Industrial spacesWarehouses and factories usually choose greys, with traffic yellow (RAL 1023) for walkways and safety lines.
  • Light and dark tonesLight colours brighten a space. On dark, glossy floors dust and fine scratches can be more visible.
  • Homes and shopsWhites, creams and beiges feel warm and are also used as the base colour for marble-effect floors.

How we work

  • We see the floor first

The right system cannot be chosen without knowing the condition, moisture and use of the floor. We make our recommendation after assessing the area.

  • We take time over surface preparation

Grinding, repair and priming determine how well the coating bonds to the floor. We never skip these steps and build them into the schedule from the start.

  • We plan floor and marking together

Walkways, safety stripes, parking and charging bay lines are handled in the same project as the coating.

  • We show what we say

Every photo on this site is our own work. We talk about systems and results through real projects.

Our process

Every project follows the same steps; how long each takes depends on the size of the area, the condition of the floor and the chosen system.

  1. Site visit and measurement

We see the area and record the floor’s condition, moisture, size and how it is used.

  2. System choice and quote

Together we choose the right system, colours and line marking, and prepare a written quote.

  3. Surface preparation

We prepare the floor with grinding, dust removal and crack and void repair.

  4. Primer and coating

We apply primer, intermediate and top coats to suit the chosen system and product requirements.

  5. Curing and handover

We hand over the area with return-to-service times and maintenance advice.

Frequently asked questions

What people most often ask before deciding.

All questions

What is epoxy flooring?

A two-component, resin-based coating applied to concrete or properly prepared floors. It creates a seamless, dust-free surface that is easy to clean. Systems include thin-film paint, textured orange-peel and smooth self-leveling epoxy.

How is the floor prepared before application?

The moisture, soundness and contamination of the floor are assessed. The surface is opened up by grinding or another mechanical method, dust is removed, cracks and voids are repaired and a primer is applied. Surface preparation directly affects how well the coating bonds.

Can a new coating be applied over old epoxy or painted floors?

If the existing coating is well bonded, it can be sanded, cleaned and recoated in suitable cases. Blistered, peeling or weak coatings must be removed first. The decision is made after inspecting the floor on site.

When can the floor be used after application?

Waiting times for foot traffic, vehicle traffic and full use differ and depend on the product data sheet and site temperature. We plan the schedule with these times in mind.

What determines the price of epoxy flooring?

The size of the area, the current condition of the floor and the preparation required, the system and number of coats, colour and line marking needs, access to the site and the schedule are the main factors. You can find average price ranges per m² on our price page; for a firm price we need to see the floor or receive photos and measurements.
